Fire Safety Awareness Program

College of Hotel Management and Tourism organised an Awareness Programme in Fire Safety for the students of   Third and First semester BHMCT & BScHM on September 30, 2019. The programme was conducted by Mr Rajesh, Fire Station officer, Pandeshwar, Mangalore along with his team of firemen in the University Campus. Mr. Athul Dange, student of BHMCT III Semester, welcomed the gathering. Mr Rajesh delivered a lecture to the students on fire, its components, classes and the related sciences. He also enlightened the students on the use of fire fighting equipment and dealing in cases of fire emergency.  A practical demonstration of the use of various fire fighting equipment and fire handling was also conducted and students were also made to participate.
