International Mother Tongue Day at Srinivas University, Institute of Education

On 21^st of February 2022 International Mother Tongue Day was celebrated at Srinivas University, Institute of Education. The Chief Guest Dr. B. DevadasaPai, Research Professor, Srinivas University highlighted on the theme of 2022 “Using Technology for Multilingual Learning: Challenges and Opportunities”. Dr.Jayashree K, Dean of Institute of Education presided over the function said that “Apart from the importance of Mother tongue one must have hold on the communicating global language too”.

Mrs. Reshma M.Y, Assistant Professor, Convener of the programme welcomed the guests. The B.Ed.I & II year students spoke in their regional mother tongue languages like Hindi, Coorgi, Byaari, Malayalam, Tulu, Konkani, Navayat, Telugu, Tamil, Mizoram, and Meghalaya & gave their importance of language. Student teacher Sister Leona was master of ceremony & Student teacher Ms. Reshma Rocco delivered the vote of thanks.
