Srinivas University, College
of Allied Health Science, Department of Clinical Psychology organised a visit
to “Heritage Village” in Pilikula, Mangalore on Wednesday, 23/02/2022. As a
part of the filed visit, students of both M.Sc. and B.Sc. Clinical Psychology were
taken to Artisan village, Guttu house. The objective of the visit is to enrich
the knowledge on cultural psychology, as mind and culture are inseparable and
mutually constitute in behaviour. To reinforce the theoretical knowledge
practically, that, people are shaped by their culture and culture is shaped by
the people. Moreover the purpose of the visit is to provide insight to the
Dakshina kannada culture, and tradition. The visit was organised by Assistant Professor
Priyadhersini.S, Course Coordinator, and faculties of the department Mrs. Shreyasi Roy and Asha N accompanied the
visit.
