Research Professor at Srinivas University, Dr. Manjula KT, addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for men's support in achieving women's freedom. She acknowledged that India was one of the first countries to admit women, but gender equality is still a distant dream. She urged society to avoid gender and caste differences.
The event saw the presence of Dr. Manjula KT, Research Professor at Srinivas University, who delivered an address to the gathering. She highlighted the importance of men's support for women's freedom and the need to remember gender equality and women's rights in society. She pointed out that India admitted women much before other countries, but gender equality is still far from being achieved.
Dr. Laveena Dmello, the Dean of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, gave the presidential remarks, urging everyone to recharge and learn about women's rights on this day.
Dr. Vidhya N, Dr. Pradeep M. D., Prof. Susmitha, Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof. Shreeraj Acharya, Research Scholars Ashwani, Indu Nair, Drishya, Shivaraj, and students of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities were present.
