Mehndi is extremely important in Indian culture and festivals. Without its presence, no festival or ritual can be completed. This competition also aimed to instill in the students an interest in Indian traditions and customs displayed on various festive occasions.
They showcased their talent in large numbers by making beautiful and intricate designs. The programme was organized by the cultural coordinators of the Institute of Aviation Studies Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, and prof Kavyashree, course coordinator, Institute of Aviation Studies.
In the final assessment, the first position was bagged by Amitha S N ( III year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management) and Sneha R ( ( I year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management), second place was bagged by Varshini ( III Year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management) and Nalini (III Year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management) and the third position was bagged by Fathimath Noora (I year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management) and Livia Laurincia Mendonca (I year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management). Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies congratulated all the winners and the participants.
