Guest lecture on Social Work practice in Australia

Mangaluru ,17 December, 2022  : Srinivas University Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities organised a Guest Lecture on Social work Practice in Australia, Career opportunities and Challenges on December 17, 2022 at Srinivas University City Campus Pandeshwar.

The resource person Senior Social worker- The Department for Child Protection Government of South Australia Mr. Joby Mathew and the Disability Support officer Department of Human Services Government of South Australia Ms. Renji Joby explained the career challenges in Australia as well as India. 

Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities Dean, Dr. Laveena Dmello presided over the program. Program faculty convenor Dr.Pradeep M.D., Dr. Vidya N., Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof. Sushmitha S. Kotian, Prof. Shreeraj S. Acharya, Student Convenor Arun Kuriakose were present. 

MSW, BSW and BA Journalism and Mass Communication students actively participated in the session.
