World Water Day Celebration

 World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day held on 22 March every year that highlights the importance of fresh water. The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. The intention is to inspire people around the world to learn more about water-related issues and to take action to make a difference. World Water Day 2022 was observed at Srinivas University , City campus, Pandeshwar on 22 March 2022, Tuesday . A water Campaign Programme was organized by III B.COM (ACCA) Students under the guidance of Mrs.Yashashwi.A.Ail, Course co-ordinator of B.Com (ACCA) Programme, Institute of Management & Commerce. Students went out to the city and found the hardworking labourers and also poor people who were in need of water and provided them with fresh and clean water  to drink. Students gave a Hastag for the campaign as “ WATER IS THE ELIXER OF LIFE” and circulated the campaign video in social media so as to create awareness about the value of each drop of water.

World Water Day 2022 was observed at Srinivas University , City campus, Pandeshwar on 22 March 2022, Tuesday . A water Documentary video session was organised by the Department of Commerce & Management by Mrs.Sharmila S Shetty , Mrs.Shilpa K and Mrs.Yashashwi.A.Ail for the students of II BCOM  Which created a deep awareness in the minds of students about water scarcity and value of water in life.
