September, 2021: The college's annual cultural day is one of the most awaited
event. On the 29th of September, the Department of BBA hosted Sanchalana– 2021
at Srinivas premises. A huge number of students from BBA Port Management
celebrated the college's cultural day. Dr. P. S. Aithal, Vice Chancellor
Srinivas University, Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean College of Management and
Commerce, Dr. Sonia Noronha, Course Coordinator BBA Port Management, Prof.
Nelson Pereira, Course coordinator BBA department, Prof. Vinutha H K and Prof. Souparnika,
Cultural coordinators and Mr Omarul Farooq, Ms. Greeshma and Mr. Anirudh,
Student Cultural Co-ordinators were present. The programme begins with an
almighty prayer and the lighting of the lamp. Souparnika and her team from II
BBA opened the cultural programme with a welcoming dance. Various cultural
competitions were organised, including solo and group dancing, solo and group
singing, spot choreography, a variety performance, and a fashion show. Students
actively participated in all the events. On the same day, the students of
BBA Courses organised a Farewell Day for their seniors.
Farewell is basically a
get together kind of celebration for the seniors who will be soon stepping out
of that particular institute. During the celebrations, Vice Chancellor Dr. P. S Aithal
felt happy about the achievements and accomplishments of the students in the
campus and wished them a happy life ahead with bright career. He addressed the
students with his inspiring words. He advised the students for having determination
and control to never look back. Junior
students of BBA expressed their own experiences and memories they shared with
their seniors and wished them a great future. The programme followed by
fun games which were conducted by the juniors to the seniors. All the students
were felicitated by the Course Co-ordinator Prof. Nelson Pereira and
wished them with his motivational speech. The entire program was successfully
organized by juniors with the help of faculty and senior students.
