Kala Sinchana @ Institute of Education

Pandeshwara, 28th July, 2022: Institute of Education in collaboration with Avinash Yuvaka Mandala, Merlapadavu, Neerumarga, Mangaluru in celebration of World Environmental Protection Day has organised  Drama Play  "Kala Sinchana" at auditorium of Srinivas University, City Campus Pandeshwara.  The programme was sponsored by Kannada Mathu Samskruthi Ilakhe, Mangaluru, D.K. The programme was presided over by Dr. Jayashree Bolar, Dean of Institute of Education. The students of Institute of Education started the programme with prayer song. Prof. Sridhara Acharya, Professor, Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Science, Srinivas University has inugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Mr. Sundara Suvarna, President, Avinash Yuvaka Mandala, Mangaluru and Prof. Prasanna, Faculty government college of education were present during the occasion. The drama was directed by Mr. Jagan Pawar. About 150 students from B.Ed course both from University Teachers Education College, Hampankatta and Institute of Education, Srinivas University have participated in the programme. The group song on "Salu Marada Thimmakka" was sung by the students of government college of education during the occasion. The drama delivered message on the hazards of environmental pollution and created awareness about environmental protection.
