VIRTUAL WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY ORGANIZED BY COLLEGE OF AVIATION STUDIES

 

Mangalore: College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University had conducted virtual World Environment Day for BBA(Aviation Management)/(Aviation and Logistic Management)/(Aviation,Travel and Tourism Management )  Students as a part of off-stage event on Saturday 5^th June 2021

 World Environment Day was celebrated at Srinivas University College of Aviation Studies , on Saturday. Various activities such as planting saplings and discussion on environmental issues were held. Former Director Prof .M.R.Vasudeva,Associate Professor Dr.Shubra Jyotsna Aithal and Research Director Dr.Shailashree V.T presided over the function and inspired the students to work collectively for the protection of Earth and emphasised on the need to build a greener world. Vice chancellor Dr.P.S.Aithal said the objective of celebrating Environment Day was to make younger generation more sensitive towards environmental protection. Dean Prof Pavithra Kumari also spoke on environmental sustainability and conducted the proceedings. Majority of Students had actively participated in the event.

 The event has been planned and coordinated by Prof. Jayaprakash, NSS and Unnath Bharath Coordinator under the guidance of Prof  Pavitra Kumari,Dean   - College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University.
