Final Year B.Tech Civil Engineering Students of
Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology (SUCET), Mukka on 8th
of February 2022 visited New Mangalore Port (NMPT) Panamburu as a part of
Industrial Visit to enrich their knowledge in various structures related to
Port and Harbour. HoD Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde and Faculty Member Prof Shrinath
Rao accompanied the students. Senior Er Yallappa of NMPT explained different
Civil Engineering structures including Mooring Dolphin, BD, Wharf Wall, Jetty,
Cargo Berth and Dregding Operations.
