Mangaluru, 24 December, 2022 :Dr. P.K. Paul, who has joined as honorary position of Chief Advisor (Research Planning & Innovative Programs), Srinivas University, Mangalore in the year 2020 very recently obtained the highest Degree in academic and research- ‘Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) under Dr. Agustin Yoh International Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program (DAYIPF).

Dr. Paul said he got nomination in the year 2020 directly from the Azteca University Mexico for Dr. Agustin Yoh International Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program (DAYIPF) due to his academic and research contribution, and after reviewing his academic application and credentials he has been confirmed not only the prestigious award but also offered highest honor of the Azteca University as ‘Fellow of Azteca University

The uniqueness of that Post Doctoral program was it is an Award based on post doctoral activities and research work in a given or specified areas, and also confirms FAU status. If the FAU awardees work is satisfactory then concerned candidate can directly join as a Post doctoral researcher on remuneration. And if the scholar has already having outstanding work can apply to the higher Post Doctoral degree of the university. Dr. P.K. Paul, as an international scholar in Information Science and Technology grabbed the position of Post Doctoral Degree registration and subsequently submitted his work composed with 75 first/ sole authored publications including research papers, policy papers, book chapters, review works in an interdisciplinary area of Cloud-Big Data and other emerging technologies in techno-social & educational context. Dr. P.S. Aithal is his research mentor at master’s level and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University expressed that “Dr. P.K.Paul is one of the active young researcher, expert, consultant and distinguished international Information Scientist, and since 2017 onwards he has become an active collaborator fellow and advisors at Srinivas University. As of now Srinivas University also offered three (3) important scholarships for pursuing research degrees/ qualifications at Srinivas University, and this International Postdoctoral award and D.Sc. Degree no doubt an additional ornament into his research credit”, further he added though many people in India and abroad obtained D.Sc. in Computer Science or IT, and only few are on ‘Information Science’ but on this newest-interdisciplinary ‘Information Science and Technology’ perhaps first D.Sc. degree award in any university based on my personal observation.

Dr. P.K. Paul added that as he was unable to join Convocation physically therefore Azteca University offer him DAYIPF (FAU) Award and D.Sc. Degree (and other contents) via post from Mexico. ACHE an unit of Azteca University handling in the region of India, Qatar and UAE also offer him additional honors and token of appreciation due to his academic contribution.

It is worthy to note that as an educational institute Azteca University, Mexico established around 40 years before and have 10 Campuses in different parts of the Mexico country. In addition Azteca University has international campuses in European Countries viz. Germany, Austria. University also offers its online and blended programs in all the continents which are very popular.

Dr. P.K. Paul is an International authority at his early age of 38 (thirty eight) in the field of Information Science. Due to his activities he become grabbed the position of Fellow, senior members, advisers in different international associations, international conferences and events, academic bodies etc.

It is worthy to note that due to outstanding record and achievement of Dr. P.K. Paul in Information Science, Higher Education, Research and Development activities he grabbed many positions like Executive Secretary of ICCRD, Honorary Professor at Logos International University, Florida, USA (which is having online operations internationally), etc.

Dr.Paul is having record number of academic activities such as 350 Research, Review & Policy Papers, 100+ Book Chapters, and 35+ Edited & Authored books, became Editorial Board Members, Chief Editors, Reviewers of more than 120 Journals; and most of these are Scopus/ SCI and other reputed Internationally Indexed. He has also track record of associated over 300 academic events as member, chair, speakers, and presenter etc.

Prof. P.S. Aithal on this occasion of his national and international achievement expressed his wishes to Dr. P.K.
