Fresher’s Day AAGAMAN

Mangaluru, Nov 28: Freshers’ Day is a welcome party to newcomers and a gesture of extending the friendly atmosphere and to be motivating factor for juniors. The students of BBA Courses organised a Fresher’s Day 'AAGAMAN' for the juniors on November 16 at Srinivas premises.

A huge number of students from BBA Honours, BBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BBA Port, shipping management and Logistics, BBA Hospital Administration, BBA CMA, Public Administration, IB celebrated the college's Fresher’s Day. Professor Keerthan Raj, dean Institute of Management and Commerce, Dr Sonia Delrose Noronha, dean Institute of Port Shipping & Supply Chain Management, professor Nelson Periera, course coordinator of BBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management, professor A K Aneesh, course coordinator of BBA Honours, professor Sagar Srinivas, BBA Port, shipping management and Logistics and professor Kavyashree, course coordinator of BBA Hospital Administration, professor Shwetha P Bhat and professor Akshatha Eva Sampson, cultural coordinators were present on the occasion.The programme began with an almighty prayer and the lighting of the lamp. Saritha and her team from III BBA opened the Fresher’s Day programme with a prayer. Cultural programmes followed thereby with various types of dance forms, songs and even Games were also conducted for the freshers. Finally, the programme came to a close, leaving behind lovely memories to be treasured for a lifetime. The occasion was graced by the presence of dean of both the institutions, course coordinators and all faculty members.

  

Srinivas University conducts cultural competitions for BBA students

Mangaluru,  28 November, 2022 : Students will remember an important day only if they are told what the occasion signifies. So, a celebration makes them aware of the world in a more fun way. Celebrating events and festivals in our college has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Apart from classroom learning, it is important to encourage students to participate in cultural programs with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students are exposed to the essence of festivals in various ways through cheerful and melodious songs. Each and every performance turns out to be innovative and unique in its own way. At the end of the day, the boundless joy of celebrating the event is visible on the faces of all.

On November 17, Institute of Management & Commerce, Srinivas University conducted various cultural competitions for all students of BBA Courses. The programme begins with an almighty prayer and the lighting of the lamp. Swarna and her team from III BBA opened the Cultural Day programme with a prayer. Various cultural competitions were organised, including solo and group dancing, solo and group singing, spot choreography and a fashion show. Students actively participated in all the events.

Institute of Technology organizes Fresher’s Day, Orientation Programme

Mangaluru,  25 November, 2022 : Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a Fresher’s Day/ Orientation Programme for the first Year BE/B Arch students on November 25. Mitra S Rao, member, Board of Governors, Srinivas University, and secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru, inaugurated and presided over the programme.

Mitra S Rao, in her inaugural address spoke about the importance of values that each students should inculcate in their student life and through ought. She highlighted the importance of leadership skills. She said the students need to develop leadership skills by participating in various activities. She congratulated the newly admitted students and wished them success in their academic life.
Professor Jayram Thumbe, faculty Mechanical department, handled a session on 'Engineering: A Success Path'. Parents, newly admitted students expressed their views on this occasion. Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college, welcomed the gathering and briefly introduced he management, college and Head of various departments, Sanjana and Dyna, first year engineering students sang the prayer song. Dr Anant Kulkarni, student welfare officer, the programme coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks. Dr Ambika Mallya and professor Steevan Robert Tellies were the master of ceremony on this occassion.

The Objective of the program is to inculcate constitutional obligations among students, to create awareness about constitution, to sensitise the students about importance of constitution day.

Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities Celebrates 73rd Constitution Day Of India

Mangaluru, 26 November, 2022: Pandeshwara Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University has Celebrated 73rd Constitution Day of India on 26th November 2022. 

Professor Meghashree, Institute of Port Shipping, Supply Chain Management, Srinivas University was the Resource Person of the Programme,  Dr. Pradeep M. D, Associate Professor, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University presided over the programme.
The preamble of Indian Constitution was displayed in the notice board. The resource person oriented on Fundamental Rights and Duties. Students took an oath to up held the Constitutional values in their day to day life.

The vote of thanks was offered by Irish Fernandes, Student of Journalism and Mass Communication, Programme was hosted by Shreyas Shenoy, Student of  Social Work.

Programme Coordinator,  Professor Joyson Prenky Cardoza, professor Shreeraj S. Acharya, Research Scholar Shivaraj G. And Students of Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities were present at the Programme.

Celebrated Constitution Day of India

guidance of Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Honourable Chancellor of Srinivas
University and Dr. A Srinivas Rao, Honourable Pro Chancellor of Srinivas
University, Institute of Allied Health Science, Srinivas University, Mukka
celebrated “Constitution Day of India” on 26th November, 2022 in Srinivas
Campus, Mukka.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Darshan G C (Educator for IAS study
centre Yashas, Viveananda college Puttur) and guests of honor for the day were
Dr. Beena H B (Dean, Institute of Allied Health Science) and Prof. Pavana
Krishnamoorthy (Dean, Institute of Allied Health Sciences)
The program began with invoking God’s blessing through a prayer song by
Mrs. Bhavya R Nayak (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Cardiovascular
Technology) and Nisha K R (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Clinical
Psychology). The session was presided over by master of ceremonies Mrs.
Arpitha N (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Medical Laboratory Technology) gave
introduction about the program, followed by welcome address by Dr. Beena H
B (Dean, Institute of Allied Health Science) who welcomed the chief guest and
dignitaries for the program.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Darshan G C gave a wonderful talk on “INDIA: THE
MOTHER OF DEMOCRACY” and delivered the significance of constitutional
values and also brought the awareness of importance of constitution.
The program ended with Vote of thanks which was rendered by Mr. Naveen B
(Assistant Professor, Dept. of Medical Laboratory Technology). The gathering
dispersed after the National Anthem.

Guest lecture on ‘Personal Development and Etiquettes’ organised by Institute of Aviation Studies 2022

Mangaluru 22nd November, 2022: Institute of Aviation Studies Srinivas University, Organized special guest lecture for the students of BBA Aviation studies, Srinivas University. A special guest lecture was organized by the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University for the students of BBA Aviation studies. The guest lecture was on the topic ‘Personal Development and Ettiquetes’, at Institute of Aviation Studies on 12th of Nov 2022. The Resource person of the program was Ms. Aishwarya Magdum, Alumni 2019 batch, BBA (Aviation Management), Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, and also the winner of the title Miss Karnataka 2022. Ms. Aishwarya addressed the students regarding activities they need to develop to facilitate employability and also about the etiquette they must possess in the Aviation Industry.

Changing Trends in Hospitality, Tourisam, Education and Management (VIRTU -CON 2022)

Mangaluru, 24 November, 2022: Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism organized a National Level Virtual Conference on the theme “Current Trends in Hospitality, Tourism, Education and Management” on 24th November, 2022. Mr. Sanjay Pandita, General Manager, Aurika Coorg, was the inaugurator of the programme. Mr. Sanjay Pandita, highlighted the major changes in the sectors of Tourism and Hospitality with facts and figures in view of the reviving hospitality business and illustrated the major steps taken by the hotels to cope with the uncertainty. Prof. S Swaminathan, Dean, welcomed the dignitaries and delegates to the virtual programme. Mr.Subrat Saraf, Convener of the conference addressed the delegates on the theme of the conference. Mr.Prashanth Prabhu, organising Secretary delivered the Vote of thanks. Dr. Srinivasan Pilavadisamy, HOD, in KL Deemed to be University, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, delivered the keynotes. Dr. P S Aithal, Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University released the Abstract books and Conference Proceedings received from various researchers and intellectuals across India. Many professors and research scholars from various colleges presented their papers on the theme.
