Management and Marketing Exhibition " AIKONOMAS" 2022

Mangaluru, Oct 26, 2022 : Srinivas University, Institute of Management and Commerce, MBA Department, Pandeshwar city campus, organised a Management & Marketing exhibition in the auditorium on On October 22 for the MBA students to showcase their knowledge and conceptual base of various management topics. The exhibition was held in the theme of “AIKONOMAS.” The event was organized by the MBA department, IMC, under the patronage of chancellor, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao and pro-vice chancellor Dr A Srinivas Rao. The chief guest for this exhibition was Dr K V M Varambally, former director, Institute of Management, MAHE, Manipal and was presided over by vice chancellor, Dr P S Aithal. The exhibition started at 11 AM. and was open to all the students of PG. Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University, in his presidential address, applauded the efforts of the students and said that such events bring forth exceptional industry readiness among students which the institution is always incorporating in its curriculum on a continuous basis. As the exhibition started, various students presented their projects. Models of rural marketing, new product development, market research methodology, Digital marketing, product pyramid, were built by the students. Dr K V M Varambally, gave a lot of interesting insights and ideas to students and appreciated their skills. Dean of the Institute of Management & Commerce, Prof Keerthan Raj, motivated and appreciated the students. Head of the department, Prof Amith Menezes supported the students. Prof Venkatesh A S organized the event. Apart from models, the students also organised visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their models. The models were judged based on creativity, relevance and utilisation. It was a great opportunity for students to learn, create and demonstrate their skill sets. The event also had invited guests from several companies and placement collaborations to view the event and encourage the MBA students.

Orientation Program for Nursing Students

Mangaluru, Oct 26, 2022: Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences & A. Shama Rao Nursing School, Valachil organized an orientation program for the 20th B.Sc. (N) and 18th, GNM Batch, on October 20. Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao, President, the A. Shama Rao foundation and Chancellor, Srinivas University presided over the function. Dr.A. Shama Rao Nursing School, Valachil Mangalore, Prof. Pradeepa M, Vice Principal, Convenor, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences & A. Shama Rao Nursing School, Valachil were also present.

Indore Table Tennis Competition

Mangaluru, 20 October, 2022: Indore TableTennis competition has been held at Srinivas University. Mr.Ayush Annigeri of IMC Department Has won Gold/First place,Mr. Rakshan and Mr. Ameen of ICIS, have won second and third place respectively in Srinivas University Table Tennis Tournament Conducted at Institute of engineering and technology, Mukka.

Mega Expo

Mangaluru 20th October, 2022: Institute of Port shipping and Supply chain Management, Bachelor of Business Administration Logistics and Supply chain management department organized a Mega Expo for First, Second and Final Year students. Arvind Shrivastav Centre head of Fiza Nexus and Sunil K S Senior Manager – operations of Fiza Nexus were the Chief Guest for this Programme. The Chief guest addressed the gathering about the innovation that need to be implemented in futuristic system and discussed about the logistic sector which is progressing and how the country is supporting towards this sector, They also enlightened about digitalization . Logistics and supply chain interconnected to all the production industries of the globe. Dr. P S Aithal , Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean of Institute of management and commerce  Dr. Sonia Noronha , Dean of Institute of Port shipping and Supply chain Course Coordinator – Prof. Nelson Periera Student Coordinators- Mr Joel Monteiro and Anvith Shetty , were present for the programme. Prof .Chirag M.S announced the winners of the Mega Expo , Joyston and Team Emerged as winners of Mega Expo 2022 Whereas Hithesh and Team were the Runners up of this event.

Dental Screening and Dental Treatment

Mangaluru,17th and 18th, October 2022: Institute of Management and Commerce has organised "Dental Screening and Dental Treatment Camp"  through Mobile Dental Care in Pandeshwara Campus of Srinivas University. All the students of the institute made use of the facility and got benefitted. 

Workshop on Basic Lighting Techniques

Mangalurue 18th October,  2022: Direction, quality, lighting ratio, and control, Each of these elements contributes to the overall effect of our lighting and needs to be considered when we design our lighting, said Mr. Adithya Kumar, Asst. Professor, Digital Film Making and VFX, Srinivas University on Tuesday. He was during the workshop on "Basic Lighting Techniques" organized by the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities of Srinivas University. He also explained about Art of Lighting, Lighting and color can be used as visual tools to create meaning, and to create a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. Both help to establish mood and atmosphere and can highlight and define certain objects and characters to code a story. He added. Dr. Laveena D'mello, Dean of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities presided over the workshop, Asst. Professor Shreeraj S Acharya, Coordinator of the Workshop, Asst. Professor Joyson, and Research Scholar Shivaraj were present in the workshop. Student Soumi introduced the Resource Person, Vidhya Sree welcomed the guest, Workshop was hosted by George, Vote of thanks was offered by Adithya. Students of the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication actively participated in the workshop.
