ACCA Orientation Programme - 2021


December 23, 2021: Bcom(ACCA) Department organised an ACCA ORIENTATION PROGRAMME through Virtual webinar by Mr. Rohan Rajvanshi, Currently working with ACCA as Business Relationship Manager for Karnataka. Worked for 4 years with Aakash Educational Services Ltd. as AGM prior to ACCA. Holds an experience of 12+ years working in various Industries. Completed MBA from University of Wales, UK. Worked in UK for companies like Travelex, Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s.





Orientation Programme for the Post Graduate Courses 2021-22

Srinivas University inaugurates three day Orientation programme of Post Graduate programs of MBA, M.Com, MCA & MSW for the batch of 2022

Srinivas University commenced the 2022 batch of Post graduate programs of various colleges leading to degrees in the streams of MBA, MCA, MSW & M.Com on 3rd January, 2022 with a three day LEAD orientation program with various events planned to add value and orient students to post graduate studies and develop them into successful students. The inaugural event is patronized by Chancellor, Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao and Pro- Chancellor, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao.  The three-day program was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Aithal. In his inaugural address he spoke about Srinivas Group having its 21st Batch of PG students since the group started PG programs in 1999. He advised students to take up challenges and encash opportunities to become successful.

Prof. Vaikunt Pai, Coordinator of MCA program delivered the welcome address, Prof. Amith Menezes, Coordinator, MBA Program proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean, College of Management & Commerce, Prof. Subramanya Bhat, Dean, College of Computer Sciences & Social Sciences &Dr.LaveenaD’Mello, Dean, College of Social Sciences & Humanities spoke about the various advantages of the programs. Prof. Pavitra Kumari, Dean, College of Aviation Studies was also present. Prof. Panchajaneshwari M. Achar compered the orientation program.




 

UGC Sponsored Swayam Course Certification by Faculties

Institute of Engineering & Technology (SUIET) Mukka, visit to Technology Park, Innovation Centre, Bio Digester Unit and Model House at Dakshina Kannada Nirmithi Kendra

Final Year and Pre-Final Year B.Tech Civil Engineering Students from Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology (SUIET) Mukka, visited Technology Park, Innovation Centre, Bio Digester Unit and Model House at Dakshina Kannada Nirmithi Kendra on Wednesday, 30-03-2022. Students actively participated in live demonstration and involved themselves in Hands on Training session. Thanks to Er Shri Rajendra Kalbhavi, Executive Director of Dakshina Kannada Nirmithi Kendra for sparing 2 and half hours of his valuable time with our students and for explaining various concepts including: Green Construction Technology, Green Buildings, Rain Water Harvesting, Production of Stabilised Mud Blocks, Different types of Shell structures, Arch Masonry, Masonry Construction, Eco Friendly Construction, etc. 

Inauguration of Cultural Programme "Kalaspandana-22" at Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The Cultural Programme "Kalaspandana-22" program at the Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mukka, Mangalore, was inaugurated on Thursday, March 31st at the college auditorium.  Vidushi Mrs. Yasha Ramakrishna, Vice-President of Udupi District Rajyotsava Award and Vice-President of Udupi District Rajyotsava Award, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp.  The Honorary Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr.  Satya Sai Kumar presided over the program.  The head of the college, Dr.  Thomas Pinto, College Vice-Principal and Cultural Coordinator  Ramakrishna Hegde and Student Coordinator Kumari Atmika Bhatt were present on the occasion.

 Dr.  Ramakrishna Hegde welcomed the chief guest, the dignitaries present on the stage, the professors and the audience.  He told the gathering about the background and importance of the "Kalaspandana" program, which has been hosted at the college for many years.

 K.  Srinath Rao presented a briefing of the achievements of Chief Guest Vidushi Mrs Yasha Ramakrishna and introduced the guests to the meeting.

 The keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Yasha Ramakrishna, Chief Guest, Vidushi, who gave the inaugural address and gave information on the importance of fine arts.  Students can develop a holistic personality by participating in literature, dance, drama, cultural programs and fine arts.  Our India is credited with giving the world's richest artistic heritage.  Young people should continue to uphold the cultural heritage of the country.  Participating in art competitions promotes confidence, memory, mental well-being, guru devotion and many other positive qualities.  Dance and music are being successfully adopted in the fields of computer science, civil engineering, chemistry, medicine and more.  In addition to academic knowledge, art knowledge can also help students achieve success.  Vidushi Mrs Yasha Ramakrishna said that all students should enjoy the comprehensive use and experience of the Kalaspandana program and congratulated the students.

 The head of the college, Dr.  Speaking by Thomas Pinto, he said that our country, a beautiful country with a diverse culture and a variety of languages, is a perfect development for today's youth generation.  Every person has his own power-maneuverability;  With this in mind, one should use the strengths embedded within them for the benefit of society and the country.  He said that it is the youth's responsibility to maintain and sustain our country, our land, our water, our language, our arts and culture, and we wish the students well.

Satya Sai Kumar, speaking in the district, said that fine arts are very important in our lives.  Talent and skill can create positive behavior in students and thereby give them a dimension to personality development.  He said that participating in such programs would enhance the confidence and leadership qualities of the students.

 The lecturer Mrs. Rajeshwari gave the details of the winners of various competitions organized as part of the "Kalaspandana" program.  The main guests and dignitaries present on the occasion distributed prizes and awards to the students.

 Prayer was delivered by student Sri Dinakara.  Dr.  Ramakrishna Hegde assisted in prayer by flute.
 Pro.  K.  Chitra delivered the vote of thanks. 
 The program was jointly hosted by student Kumari Simi and Kumari Kripashree.
 After the formal programme, the students of the college participated in several cultural competitions.
 Vidushi Mrs. Swathi Sanjay and Vidushi Kumari Pooja were present as the contest referees.
 Heads of various departments of the college, lecturers, students and class members were also present.

International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing (ICAIQC)-2021.

Topic: International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing (ICAIQC)-2021 in collaboration with ISMASI, Azteca University, Mexico, North America and IEEE Srinivas University  Student  Branch [STB 11770] will be held on 29th and 30th December 2021. This conference is being organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University, Mangalore. The objective of ICETCST-2021 is to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, industry persons, and research scholars to exchange and contribute to their knowledge, experiences and research outcome on all phases of Artificial Intelligence  and Quantum Computing. The conference will feature traditional paper presentations as well as keynote speeches by prominent international speakers on both the days.

College of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University celebrated National Youth day in its Pandeshwar Campus. On this occasion, the college organised a debate competition for BBA Aviation/ Aviation and Logistics/Aviation Travel and Tourism students. The program was presided over by Dr Pradeep. M.D,  Chief Convenor of Unnath Bharat Abhiyan, Srinivas University. The program was held under the guidance of Prof. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, College of Aviation Studies.
